I couldn't put it off any longer.

I tried not to post about this, but I have to do it.

This is an incredible title. First impressions aside (lots of sexy visuals as well as a lot of objectifying), the story is pretty rad. It's great to see Selena being so well written again.

And to be fair, I think it's fine that her boobs get all hanging out in a few scenes. I mean c'mon, it's Catwoman. I don't think all or even most female characters should have this happen, it's wrong, IMO.

But... Catwoman. This is one of the few characters who would use her sexuality this way, and it's fine. The title is certainly not meant for younger readers anyways. I can't say that this hurts the company or the title to keep men reading based on the hope that they're gonna get some boobs. I mean what's the worst that can happen, they find out the writing is good too?

Awesome.

I'll take that, I'm sure DC will too.

So far, this, AC, B&R, and Batgirl appear to be the only titles that are doing really well. We'll see about Flash #3 once that comes out, but the first two issues were very "FIRST TIME EVER WRITING" (Manapul, once just Flash Artist, is now both writer and artist).

Anyone else read Catwoman? What'd you think?
