Do you know your X-Men?

Post by BlueVelvet14 »

My stupid friend gave me this quiz for the fun of it:whocares. Of course, I got all the answers right 'cuz I'm a total geek;) Let see if I'm not the only one:
1. :yell In what issue did Nightie discover Mystique was his mama?
2. :yawn In what issue did Nightie discover he could disappear into shadows?
3. :wan-kurt Who was Nightie's first girlfriend?
4. :worship Who is Nightie's idol? (duh question:X)
5. :wolvie True of False? Nightie hardly ever uses his image inducer because Wolvie won it in a poker game.

From the top of my head...

1 dunno exactly, but I think it was in an annual special- pretty shitty art in it too.
2 don't know the number, but it was drawn by Dave Cockrum and it involved dr. Doom. Great early issue.
3 Amanda Grayson. Later turned out to be his adoptive sister, Jimaine Szardos.
4 Erroll Flynn
5 If I recall correctly, Nightcrawler took a walk downtown without it after a bet with Wolvie. After that, he took more pride in his real appearance.

1. No clue
2. No clue
3. No clue
4. No clue
5. No clue

Nightcrawler's not one of my top X-Men. therefore nope, don't know my nightcrawler. now, if you asked about Gambit, Rogue, Wolverine, Beast, Storm, Cyke, Jean, Rachel, Cable, Kitty, Sam...? I'd probably have gotten a high score instead of a ZERO...

NOT one of the blue ones.

Though I'll be honest I only knew about two of those and anything issue related you got me on that. ....now if this was SPIDER-MAN....I'd have gotten A-.
the - is just because I haven't been reading Spider-Man in the last year due to its poopy behavior.

Okay, this is going nowhere! Here are the answers.

1) X-Men Unlimited(1st series)#4-Therories of Reletivity: March 1994
2) Uncanny X-Men(1st series)#103-The Fall of the Tower: February 1977
3) Amanda Sefton, A.K.A. Jimaine Szardos
4) Errol Flynn
5) False. Wolverine bet that Kurt couldn't walk through town without his image inducer. He did, and gained confidence in himself to where he doesn't use it as offten. Classic X-Men #4-The Big Dare(2nd Story): December 1986

Congrats, german_gremlin. You got the most answers.
