X-Men Legends II
The transporter looks activated, but I can't get it to take me anywhere! I really hope it's not a bug in the game. I can't advance past the Pantheon, despite standing on the glowing blue platform.
Maybe it's because I haven't found the "Holding Pens" yet? Or does that come later? I am so confused.

Bamf, suckas!
X-Men Legends II
Ne, I hadn't a need to spend anything buying it since my brother bought it all the same.
Started out in the first level using Wolverine since I've always used him in the first XML. Took Kurt is, did his sword dance, got hooked line and sinker and played him for the rest of game. I've yet to finish it though, and my main team is Nightcrawler, Magneto, Sunfire and Colossus (When my brother plays, Colossus is replaced by Juggernaut. I often quarrel with him over which tank to use although both are equal in most sense)
Nightie runs on all fours; That's how he's suppose in most occasions, right?
I'll have to agree with the lot of you that the game's a tad too simple and my brother has refused to pick up the controller ever since he was left unscathed after a rendevous with Deadpool. The only boss at this stage who gave me problems was Mikhail as we didn't know what to expect, and the difficulty of an amateur gamer to get them foes on the right part of the flooring!!!!!! My brother equated these boss battles to Crash Bandicoot, but he could simply be biased.
The game's worth buying alright..and the replay value's through the roof. Day's of whining over Kurt's power in XML are LONG GONE!!!!!!:evil:evil:evil

Well, why don't you rent it? If you know a good place it's really cheap (it's a buck down at the local store on Tuesdays) and it supports the game developers. Not to mention that it's legal.Originally posted by Casshern

Theres no renting places in here, well not anymore.
It seems the game stores saw what was best for them and stopped renting games and now just sell them.
And when they rented games the prices were like "would i like to rent this game for the price of 7€/8,9$/a day? Hell No!".
edit:
ok i just bought the game for 35€
this game is. Awesome..

multiplayer mode is so fun, and if theres two of you (and playing on pc) you dont even need two computers, you can play on the same keyboard.
X-Men Legends II
It's a fun game but there was only one boss I had trouble with.
My main team is Nightcrawler, Scarlet Witch, Magneto, and Rogue.
I just can't play as Cyclops it makes me feel dirty.

The character skills were all the same as with sunfire.
But sunfire can fly. Pyro is slow as a snail.

Well that's a disappointment , It would have been interesting to play as Nocture maybe I should write them for X Men Legends 3

My team is Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Jean Grey, and using Gambit for a change. Kurt's at level 53, and has Quantum Swords!! Tee-Hee! Love 'em! I experimented with allotting skill and stat points myself, and handling weapons and armor. Kurt has a 153 for body right now, 140 EP, 135 Strike, and 124 on speed! It's Super-Crawler!! When I play with other characters, the game system holds him back because he is so potent, I think.
Ran into one glitch in the game...when you play hard level, if, in the Madri temple you all die, and leave the Temple to try to amplify the characters by gaining more XP in different areas, you will not be able to reaccess the scenario with the Stepford Cuckoos, and finish the level. I got stuck in a loop!!
Replay the game with saved statistics, and you can build up your characters to phenomenal strengths.

Ah, yes...lover at heart and along comes the ultimate romantic! Fox hunt ala Nightcrawler

Bishop is pretty useless.
as his slow and uses gun rarely, as much as ive seen him doing.
Gambit is one of the best i have, as he has the power up skill.
"Jesus christ wtf was that?", "it was Gambit"

One of the good characters is Iceman, well "good", if you like to move fast and so on. Hes fast and strong. some of his moves are like cyclops, but cyclops cant move fast.
X-Men Legends II
I think Rogue is the best of the "strong characters" a.k.a. Colossus, Juggernaugt, since she can fly and moves realitivly fast

No Cyclops for me either, thanks.
I just got the game but I never played it.
But I think the Nightcrawler/Magneto/Scarlet Witch/Rogue team will be mine too.
Oh, and a little bit of Juggernaut.

What can I say, I'm a Kurt/Wanda shipper, and weren't Magneto and Rogue in a relatioship in the AOA timeline?

I like the bonus you get when you use a team all with AOA skins. I use Kurt/Rogue/Ororo/Juggernaut to smash things mostly. I like Kurt's move when he slashes the bad guys and makes them bleed for a few seconds.
