Rogue orgin..please help lol

well to start things off who are her real parents??? i know about the adoption,adopted brother kurt,foster mother Raven etc..just who are her parents and her real name,i think we talked about that over on NCM..but dont remember getting any stright answers..please beggin fer info here lol

sorry 'love, but i dont think that there are any real awnsers. All ive seen published about her in the regular continuity is that shes from Meridian missisippi. The never mentioned the rest, cept that the first person her powers worked on was some kid named Codey, and that mystique found her soon after. thats all i got:P

I think it's dumb that we still don't know her real name. I think they either need to reveal it or at least explain WHY she won't tell it to anyone.

Marvel did a four-issue Rogue miniseries a number of years ago, and if memory serves some of that dealt with Rogue's life in Meridian and what ultimately became of Cody. But, alas, I don't remember the datails.

I have the fourth issue of the Rogue icons series... (I got it cause it has Kurt in it) but without the first three... it made little sense. So, I have no idea... all I know is that there is this guy in the issue (not cody, someone else) he's like on the bomb squad or something... I think he let her absorb the rest of his life energy while he was dying or somethin' anyways... it's sorta about her dealing with her powers.. she said she was like surgery... I'm still trying to figure that one out...

i read when i can....mine collection is even smaller than that...but for me besides the good storylines is the art..i really really liked uncanny way back in the 90's when it had that anime style art i think it had the rebirth series of archangel in it..where he got his wings back....

Art is Extremely important to me when it comes to comics! I will get a comic with not that great of a plot if the art is good, but on the other hand if I don't like the illustrations I don't care how good the story is. I won't have anything to do with the comic!

I have to go along with Lucy here...I have a great deal of difficulty reading a comic if I hate the artwork. Years ago DC did a J'onn J'onzz, Martian Manhunter miniseries. I forget who drew it, but I absolutely hated the art. In this case, though, it was important character development and a character I've always liked very much, so I struggled through it. That was a major exception, though.

Well that's the thing. I have noticed!:P:laugh: I just can't figure out where in Heaven's name they got to!:(
I don't have any younger siblings.
The only explanations I have are either my mum threw them out or ghosts stole them.

One thing my sister and I (mostly my sister) used to be friends with this one girl who was quite the klepto. She stole the trading cards off of my X-Men number 30 and then gave them back all cut up and tried to say she just got them!:mad:
It would not surprise me in the least to learn that she somehow smuggled some of my comics away durring the various times she was at our house.

:laugh:! Well like I say I'm not too observant.

Also she wore these thick leather jackets that would be easy to smuggle something out of without you seeing. I doubt she stole my entire collection and certainly couldn't have taken more than a few at one time. I should have checked her pockets (so to speak) everytime she left our house, but I don't like being accusing. Then again she did ask for it.

Yeah I wait at the very least a minimum of three years before I let anyone over. Okay not really, but I never turn my back on them for a second! Of course now the only people that come over are my real friends who I've known fro some time and know I can trust.
