I'm glad I have a place to post what I really think of those people at Marvel. If I posted it at Marvel, I would have to ban myself.
I think my friend nitecrala summed up what I am thinking quite nicely, when he posted this on the Marvel forums in our Nightcrawler thread:
So much to do and so little brains to do it with.

RIP Kurt Wagner. You were the character who brought in me into comics, who introduced me and inspired me. Now your death has sent me away again. Wherever you are in the Marvel Universe, I hope its someplace pleasant.

Actually, I hope Kurt gets a good proper kill-off. You're not a proper X-man unless you have been dead at least once; it's a rite of passage thing.

Actually, Kurt did "die" and come back already, but nobody counts Jamie Braddock's killing everyone and bringing them back just to display his power.
As for me, I feel the only way to "properly" kill off Kurt is either permanently or not at all. The only thing worse in my opinion than killing him off is bringing him back.

Did anyone get Second Coming today?
X-Force issue? Supposedly the first death?

I did. Spoilers down below:
Ariel died. She was hit by a rocket. Kurt is teleporting Rogue and Hope to Scottopia while Logan and the others act as decoys to deter Bastion's forces. Btw, it was X-Men: Legacy this week. X-Force is next Wednesday.

I don't think so. The big death happens next week in X-Force. Kurt still isn't out of danger.

That would be nice. I hope so.
Poor Ariel.
But on the bright side, better her than Kurt!

No but Cable is.
And there's two deaths... >_> and I know, I know, you see him in the "Prepare" or whatever, but I'm still holding out it happens after that.

Isn't she, like, Cannonball's younger sister?
It would explain maybe a little of his issues.

I thought she joined them? Recently? That's sort of kind of what this Synposis of X-Men Legacy is telling me, she joined their ranks recently.

I see you're all quite optimistic.
Sorry if I seem gloomy, but Kurt will bite the dust next week, I have no doubt.

I'm concordant with Diablo. Your unfailing optimism impresses me, Ult_Sm, but I still disagree with you.

One spark of hope: The team is now split in two. Kurt, Hope and Rogue are on their way to Scottopia, and Logan and the others are playing decoy, so....Logan might not see Kurt before they all get home, so he might not see him die. He might see someone else die.
:colossus:psylocke and
are with Logan.
I vote for

Unfortunately, it will definitely
not be
, because he was in the "Second Coming: Prepare" one-shot, which occurs
after X-Force #26. However, he might well be the second major death.
Look what I found: More art from X-Force #26. Check out Angel.
