Re: I asked Tom Brevoort about Nightcrawler
Good luck to anyone who tries. Maybe if more than one or two people are writing in, they might eventually listen. I'll be glad to provide both the email addresses and snail mail ones, for those who want it. I'd suggest emailing Lowe (X-Men editor), Perlmutter, Fine and Robert Iger from Disney. Brevo...

Re: X-Treme X-Men
Skipped around on some issues. Mostly just reading Kurt-centric ones. He's great. If they are looking to replace Wagner's Nightcrawler this might be the character to do it. As much as I got a kick out of Darkholme, this kid is much more tightly written. Far more developed and much closer to what we...

Nightcrawler's character progression over time
Hello all. I've put together a blog showing Kurt's different portrayals over the years, in the main Marvel universe. There are plenty of vintage scans, so enjoy.

Re: Wolverine and the X-men
I'm trying not to get my hopes up, either. Marvel does seem to enjoying taunting fans. This was posted in the NC appreciation thread on CBR, as well : http://ifanboy.com/articles/teaser-birth-from-jason-aaron-and-simone-bianchi/ I agree, if they were going to bring the character back, both the curre...

Re: Wolverine and the X-men
I saw the jar, what makes you say linked to Azazel? Also, wow if it weren't for the possible explanation of bamfs I would not read this terrible plot. This frankenstein circus plot is just farking terrible. The map in the background of Isla des Demonas just before the panel with the "Hell Beas...

Re: Wolverine and the X-men
Bit of an update on this in the last issue. The witch has been definitively linked to Azazel, and there was a bamf shown in a specimen jar labeled "Hell Beast".

Re: X-Treme X-Men
As it was a fairly direct shot, if he were teleport before being hit (and this is assuming he is capable of teleporting pure energy), the blast would maintain it's velocity with respect to Kurt, still hitting him. How could he reverse the direction of the shot? This is a great topic, since we have ...

Re: X-Treme X-Men
Yeah, .... I'm not sure I get what Pak is doing here. It seems like a mish-mash of events that are supposed to kill time when leading up to something else. You think all of this is relevant to X-Termination? I think what the whale Xavier said is the only relevant thing to X-Termination. As far as w...

Re: X-Treme X-Men
Ugh...yeah. Suddenly, they were able to determine their planned location somehow, so they could follow Kidcrawler. If there was an adequate explanation, I didn't catch it (I thought Xavier head was the one to shift them around and determine where they landed). Sage is apparently the head of defense ...

Re: Wolverine and the X-men
Did you catch the bit about Calacabrina? (the witch with Frankenstein's masses) "By the power of the Darkhold and the brimstone rage of my red lord , hear me, my flesh thralls, my mind damned! Hear me Frankenstein's army of freaks! Heed the commands of your unholy queen, Calacabrina, witch of t...

Re: Uncanny X-force Thread
SPOILERS It seems like Remender dropped the ball on the character, in favour of focusing on Wolverine/Daken -- not a real surprise. All the "development" Darkholme received was done via internal dialogue or a tell type of story-telling, rather than showing anything. It, to me anyway, would...

Re: X-Treme X-Men
So, I had a ton written down, then I tried to quote you and lost everything. Ugh... Kurt Waggoner doesn't have alot of options. To be honest, I don't have a problem with him returning to a dead world and being raised by robots, being stuck traversing with Dazzler across universes forever, showing u...

Re: X-Treme X-Men
Could this be the beginning of a new Kurt in 616? Practically reborn into a society he can call home, brought up in Jean Grey's school, and being a member of newer, younger teams? Let's look at the pros and cons of doing this. Oh god not no but HELL NO. Reducing a character like Nightcrawler to the...

UXF 33: Why has no one come on here and discussed the badassery of Darkholme in his revenge against the Blob?! I don't want to spoil it if you haven't picked up the book yet, but Ahhh! So kick ass! Alot goes down in the comic, and I think they are going to go out with a bang. UXF 34: Saw the previe...

Re: Uncanny X-force Thread
Seems here might be confirmation that the unknown female on the team is probably a female clone of Fanto or EVA, and Bishop may be the other member (as they are spending an awful lot of time designing the look and costume of a villain for one or two issues). http://www.comicsalliance.com/2012/10/10/...

Re: Uncanny X-force Thread
Is Bishop supposed to be a member? I know he's supposed to be involved with the title somehow, but I haven't been reading all the interviews and stuff. He's suppose to be someone they go up against very early, but the prediction is that he'll end up joining. It wouldn't surprise me, given that the ...

Re: Wolverine and the X-men
Okay, just read WatXM #18. Ugh. Completely unbelievable last minute brain conversation between Charles and Logan(uh, probably not the best time for a pep-talk Charlie, your ass was getting fried), Kitty out of character as usual, a CoH rip-off, and more Hellfire Brats. I won't even mention the final...
