You win this one, my friend (and only due to what day it is ;) ) but the joke-off will come one day that will probably get us booted off the site for bringing a thread off-topic with sarcastic remarks:LOL Back ON-topic, anything interesting happening in this arc? I read the first issue in Waldenbook...

Can't forget Sammy "Squidboy" Pare.. being able to breath and see underwater is a fascinating gift, but it's also one that has a writer say, "Let's have a giant tree kill him off!"

Forget the Critics: X3 was a smash hit
I was hoping to see the movie at least three times in the opening weekend, but only saw it once.. I was pretty disappointed by the lack of characterization in the movie, but now that I think of it, did we really know that much in the first two? Does any non-xfan know who Toad or Sabretooth really we...

I know of the biblical Samson, but it just doesn't seem like it'd make for an interesting power for a comicbook character.. that'd be like having a mutant whose only power is to turn water into wine: while it's amazing in the bible, in a comicbook it's not so much..

I don't understand how Cyclops would rank higher than Xavier in a poll that is supposedly about "Who Personifies Xavier's Dream the Best".. I know Charles has had his moments that made him seem less than noble, but I'd think he'd still be number one..

That is one of the stupidest powers I've ever heard of.. so what, he'll be powerless if someone were to pull out a chunk of his hair?
And in my stupid defense, Cooper was in X-Factor too:shifty

Val Cooper? I thought she had a larger role than just the Psychologist, but I guess it was just cause Bishop spent so much time sucking up to her:shifty

If Brubaker thought so hard about Kurt, I wonder what his reasons for choosing the other team members might be.. any body else thinking he may have Rachel pick up where her Mother left off thirty years ago?

I'd say that Magneto, Jean, Wolverine, Xavier, and Cyclops would be the top five, but Nightcrawler would probably replace Cyclops if we were to do this poll at Nightscrawlers :D I'm thinking of starting a thread to see how everybody else would rank their favorite characters, but I'd never be able to...

That's a pretty interesting story and considering I've never had the privilage of having such an experience, I can't really say whether or not it sounds realistic or not, but it's a intriguing encounter. I've heard (firsthand from a friend) how some family members may come back to send messages alon...
