Puppies don't have the aerodynamic properties required for a good throw. However, they fly well when you punt them.

Hooray! Random catness. I would make a comment about how pussies don't need to wear cups, but instead I'll just talk about commenting about it and thereby thinly veil it. I miss the sheer insanity of the old chat room, with werewolf boys and witches taking my soul through a scan of my palm and guys ...

We ARE in the same time zone. And I am up at 4:30 am. I work a rotating schedule, so sometimes I work 7am-7pm and sometimes I work 7pm-7am. Luckily I have no internal clock to break. And sure, it coulda gone in the welcome forum, but we can fix that by making this entirely off-topic and totally anti...

And yeah, at the very least, this thread should be going crazy with odd Tag Team and 1993 references. We need more crazy. MORRRRRE CRRRRRAZY!

I saw FF2 last week. I loved it, though I didn't like it better than the first. I had a few quarrels with a few things (Doom, Sue's makeup) but it was certainly a fun and worthwhile movie. And Galactus was there, he just wasn't a giant guy dressed as a purple tuning fork. On one front, I was sort of...

I'm back again, rejoining the community that I've been away from for nearly 6 months. For those that care, I've been working two jobs (including an unpaid one) and feeding a horrible addiction to City of Heroes. (I'm stressed! I wanna smash some bad guys!) I now work for a major photo supplier and m...

As I wandered around on Gift Card & Exchange Day (Boxing Day to you crazy Canucks) I happened upon "The Sword is Drawn", the very first Excalibur story in Trade Paperback form! FINALLY! I don't know about you all, but a number of us here have been wanting this and waiting for it for ab...

Weird question about Mystique
I wouldn't immediately write it off as impossible...especially if she had stayed disguised as a man for a very long time and had, for some reason, needed to actually have male genitals. This IS the universe where Cyclops can shoot physical light through his eyes and smash a mountain while not blowin...

your Favorite villan and why?
One villain that really stands out in my mind was Paul Bettany as Bill Cox in "Firewall". He was smart, cold, calculating, and yet still unquestionably human and therefore entirely believable. The hero's son even *likes* him at first.

Strong Women in Comics (or Joss Whedon is my heeerro!)
Besides, a cardinal law of superhero cartoons, stories, and comic books is that the good guys always win sooner or later. They couldn't do that if the enemy had some strength they lacked and couldn't make up for with some other, greater strength. Which is what makes superhero comics so boring somet...

The silver fur, if he had the exact same powers, would have no effect on the shadowblending.

Strong Women in Comics (or Joss Whedon is my heeerro!)
Snow in Fables is most definitely a strong female lead. She has been through an incredible amount of bullshit and she always not only made it through, but also made it with a lot of dignity and class. Of course, that primness and refusal to use all the "weapons" at her disposal can also be...

Don't stand on rolling office chairs. My neck and elbows all still click. (And having an itch on your face with two arms immobilized arms is TORTURE.) Don't tie your scooter to your brother's bike unless he understands the physics of stopping. (He doesn't. He wont. So just don't do it.) Don't get to...

Strong Women in Comics (or Joss Whedon is my heeerro!)
When I think of the words "strong female comic characters", the only X-Men characters that even vaguely come to mind are Kitty & Emma. Sure, Storm had a run of being a strong character back in the non-powered mohawk days and Jean was interesting once upon a time, but, in my opinion, mo...

I have to say that Superman Returns was SO MUCH better than I had hoped. I loved it. You can say the story was formulaic, since it's a superhero story, but I feel that it was presented in a interesting and pretty original manner. I actually lost myself in the movie and forgot that I was actually wat...

The series that made me a Nightcrawler fan doesn't really portray the "usual" Nightcrawler: X-Calibre. It's part of the Age of Apocalypse series and if you can find the "X-Calibre Ultimate Edition", which is the collection of the series, I highly recommend it. It's a more "b...

Wait...why in the WORLD would the Inhumans be on the side of registration? Their entire worldview is based on secrecy. Or has that somehow changed due to Son of M? And Spidey is facing right and on the left side, but he's in favor of registration. And Deadpool on the side of registration? He's a fri...

The best part of it is the built-in Catch 22. It's supposedly a "Mental Disorder"...which means that your only avenue for "help" in the military is to get mental health assistance. In order to do that, you would have to break the "Don't ask/Don't tell" and so being gay ...

A Book About Dragons: I need your help!
Somewhere around 17 or 18 years ago, I read a few books about dragons and a kid that worked with them. I remember loving them and reading each one several times. So, of course, I can't remember what they were called or who they were by. A few details that really stick in my head: - The main characte...
