I just got some of the Uncanny X-Force issues but haven't read them yet, so I have yet to catch up on what Logan's doing there, but rumor has it he's acting pretty vicious. The movie doesn't look too bad...but I still don't know if I'll see it...3D movies cost $20 here now (it is 3D isn't it?) so I have to REALLY want to see a movie before I'll go and see it.

I also hated Sweeney Todd. I find Burton to be one of Hollywood's most overrated. And I thought I was the only one who hated that movie...despite its 'pedigree'...I've enjoyed or been amused by every other Burton/Depp collaboration... I haven't paid any attention whatsoever to this film, but I saw ...

Yeah...I saw those...and as much as I love I haven't ordered them. I'm gonna wait until the trade. I don't really buy IDV comics anymore...or comics in general

Well...I've officially dropped all my X-Titles. Wait a minute! Kurt died?! I guess I should have actually been reading my comics...but they've been so uninteresting lately I've just been bagging them and putting them away. Now there's nothing to keep my reading. And the Turtles have finished now that they've been sold to Viacom...which leaves me ...

No way could I do that...unless I had the month off from work or something (Yeah, Angelique, Chris Yost COULD handle that workload...but it's what he does for a living!).

Winter is when shoes need to be removed the most, because they are covered in snow and make a big mess. Can't say we really have that problem here...no snow. Not even rain lately...stupid drought... I don't think marketing specifically to girls is going to be all that necessary. A great start would be to make current Marvel properties and projects simply less off-putting to girls. You mean like not having unrealistically proportioned female heroes in impossible-to-keep-in-place costumes lying ...

I can't afford to go to either Disney...be it Land or World. It would cost several thousands of dollars just to get there...then there's accommodation and spending money...and I don't have a passport, so that's another couple of hundred. And I imagine entry tickets to such places are quite up there ...

Marvel don't know what to do with Kurt and don't seem to care all that much about him. If he were to be killed off I have to wonder if they'd even bother bringing him back...

Yes...Doctor Strange DID confirm Kurt to be human, via the all-seeing Eye of Agamotto...and even said he assumed him to be a human/demon hybrid simply by his appearance before that ( X-Men Annual #4 - 'Nightcrawler's Inferno' (1980), page 6). And to quote Azzy: "I am an advanced human. A "...
