Re: Uncanny X-force Thread

...And I might add, it's especially jarring when read back-to-back with Wolverine and the X-Men #9. A book that seems to go on and on, in which lots of characters care about lots of things, there is plenty to see, and which I immediately wanted to re-read. Whereas UXF, some guy kills another guy for...

Re: Uncanny X-force Thread

Hmm, yeah, got it. Art is a lot better. But it's depressing stuff, and there seems to be so little of it. I'm not sure if I will keep on buying it; it's just not working for me.

oh ok, I might look into it then. Did they get a different artist or were Tocchini's pants not on fire when he drew it this time?

Gosh. I have the micronauts books...Somewhere. Will have to dig pretty hard, and don't really want to, because man they were camp.

Nice review, but I think it deserves a better rating than 7/10. Loved that issue! Come on marvel, give us the preview for the next! Bachalo is back!

Re: this coffee tastes like ass

It's not the Asperger's syndrome in itself- Many can function great with this, and the specific way of analytic thinking that comes with it can be a great boon, when understood and properly managed. The problem in my case is that is that it wasn't, and all I ever learned was to hide and be ashamed o...

Re: Whitney Houston, died at age 48

That's just sad, and it was a long time coming it seems, but it's still a surprise. I was no fan of her (more the opposite) but she was sort of always there in the background trough the 80's and 90's, and she brought many people joy. If only she could have found a little bit more joy herself.

Re: Uncanny X-force Thread

With the list of characters that are in the book right now it would be better if they changed the title to Uncanny Excalibur. And about that, I'm absolutely not complaining. I think this is a very talented artist, but the work is too rushed and undetailed. I'm not sure what the production process lo...

Re: Uncanny X-force Thread

And Yes! I got it. I enjoyed the read, it was good to see Nightcrawler in action but I have issues with the art. Fight scenes seem all right, but all the humor that is written in the probably quite good script falls flat on it's face. I mean, (spoiler) Kurt rides off on an undead horse, and spends t...

Re: Wolverine and the X-men

Anyone got #5 yet? It made my day. This book takes the piss out of everybody in it and it is hilarious. And delightfully wierd. My only real complaint with it is that it is over too soon...which is the mark of a good comic.

Re: Uncanny X-force Thread

I'll have to look into that if this is not resolved. But I like paper comics, you know, all the detail you can only see on paper, the smell of the paper when you open the book...I'm not a big one for digital comics.

Re: Uncanny X-force Thread

There is a kind of snobbery going on that is very disheartening. 4 comics stores in town, only one carries American-style comics. And if they miss their delivery, the closest place I can get them is Brussels. And Brussels is no fun:(

Re: How to use chat on android device?

I have tried a few things but I'm stumped. I hope somebody can help me. I have tried chat.nightscrawlers.com and port 9990, but that's not enough information, nickserv needs a username and password, and do not know the right commands. It appears all the old technical support threads have been lost. ...
