Yay! You're back (and there was much rejoicing!) Glad to see you're picking up where we left off - thought poor Kurt was going to have that nosebleed forever Great writing as usual!

A new pic... not Kurt, but...
Thanks dudes! Sorry I've been so neglectful of my fan duties lately - been living in a tent for two months w/ two dogs for company - work stuff. I rarely get to spend time with my computer anymore :( Aaahh... the comic... I was hoping I could sneak in here and you wouldn't notice I hadn't added anym...

A new pic... not Kurt, but...
Edit: New pic at bottom of thread :) but here's a pic I did recently. This is supposed to be (in my own wierd imagination) when Kurt leaves the circus to join the X-Men - he's saying goodbye to Margali. I don't know what compelled me to give Kurt that hateful goatee or make Margali into a crazy old ...

I have to agree with TKD - he's ... well, he's just Perfect, with a capital P!
Your Kurt might even surpass Adam Hughes' crawler as my all time favorite *gasp* I can feel myself getting all excited about Kurt again. Yippee!

Excellent job! Congrats on your win - you really deserve it. I still can't believe the amount of work you put into this :eek You might consider trying to enter your costume (or a pic of you in it) in XDay 2004. It's kind of fun and you get some nice comments - no cool trophies or anything, though ;)

Hey, I haven't been around so much lately - work yanno! But, when I did finally post again I noticed my profile is all retro - displays an old avatar and sig I haven't used in about 6 months. Not really bothersome, but I was just wondering why this is. Cheers!

:D So here it is - my random take on the movie. There may be tiny, miniscule spoilers, but not enough to warrant the tags, just a warning. Overall, I thought it was great! I actually enjoyed it much more than the previous two. The reasons, I think: 1. They were outside a lot more, which I like. You ...

Originally posted by Bamfette the problem here is, the fans clamoring for all this Kuro stuff is a MINORITY. the hardcore fans on message boards are a MINORITY. and pandering to fans isn't a good practice, anyway as no two can ever agree. EvoKurt 3-D cardboard figure...
I saw these little things in the craft store while standing at the register - they're little packs of cards and you can 'pop out' the character's body parts to make a little 3-D stand up cardboard cutout. Sorry I don't know what they're called, but they had Spiderman and Hulk as well as Evolution pa...

I will, I promise! That good, 'ole Catholic guilt thing will force me to, eventually, but it may be a little while. I somehow managed to sabotage my computer about a week and a half ago and now I can't seem to get any graphics programs to work properly - i.e., without crashing it. To make matters wo...

I liked the issue, but *cringe* everytime I see Nighty now he just looks... :yech And his stupid, pointy yellow outfit isn't helping. Ultimate Nighty started off so incredibly awesome-looking. I know artists change and they have a right to incorporate their own style, but still... :bawl On another n...

Thanks! It was a fun one to draw - I kind of like to show the characters at their more personal moments. That, and it wasn't just two people talking back and forth

I've found this website really useful and very straightforward - deals with the basics of comic drawing techniques and some nice tips for working in Photoshop. Definitely geared toward Manga, but good for other styles as well.
