Anyone else think that the Decimation should be retconned?
Just had a random thought (tiredness = loony ideas) every couple decades DC has their Crisis on Infinite Earths to take care of any continuity problems, aging problems etc. and the boom and bust of the mutant population is remarkably similar...

Anyone else think that the Decimation should be retconned?
It's late, it's Friday and I am very tired. Therefore I shall now commence to ramble... I always sort of thought that the "sudden burst" in mutant population as Ult_Sm86 put it was due to the genetic manipulator satellite that was up in orbit a few arcs before (remember? when the whole mut...

Anyone else think that the Decimation should be retconned?
I know how we can retcon the Decimation event: 1) Get Jaime Madrox 2) put him in a large vat of custard 3) adorn said custardy mutant with the cosmic cube and the ring made from a bit of the CC 4) add Cyclops 5) one *Fzark!* later and you have a multiple-cosmic-mcguffin generator powered by CUSTARD!...

Uncanny X-Men: First Class
Both first class comics look good (although only Uncanny seems to be in my newsagent of late,) Does anyone besides me (and neling, I assume) like the old-fashioned, FUN-type comics? The ones where boobs and backstabbing and wrath are not the staple ingredients? YES!!!! Egads I am so sick of comics t...

20th Anniversary of Jim Henson's Death
I think i remember that Hurricane Ep of Sesame Street, thing is it aired shortly after the September 11 attacks, and i couldn't help but think that this was a good way for them to deal with something that represented so much fear and upheval for adults that younger children may not understand, and i...

X-Men: 2nd Coming (SAY WHAAAA)
I don't think Scott had a justifiable reason for X-force from day one really, if he did, he wouldn't have kept the team's presence such a secret from the other X-men. Its funny, but whenever I think of X-force I remember the phrase (often quoted by cyclops, there's irony) that "X-Men don't kill...

OK that was Astonishing X-men which continuity-wise is different from Uncanny, read: all over the flipping place! and if i may add my two cents about the art? its not so bad inside but I would like to repeat my initial reaction to the art thusly: "oh good grief! look at the size of Emma/Ororo's...
