The Temporal Comedy - The Zeitgeist Awakens
Before we begin this first of the Temporal Comedy stories, I'd like to run us through the usual disclaimer. I don't own any of these characters except for the Altheim family, copyrighted by yours truly, and a couple of nice background characters. Please do not steal them. Also, be as honest as you n...

Ah, yes. Gotta love the Celtic and Medieval. But then, I play in a Celtic band. I teach Irish dance. And I got to perform with Golden Bough once! :D And I specialized in early music in college. So when I want to just listen to music, I usually listen to something different. As for my siggy, unless t...

The Winding Way (Nightcrawler #7-11) SPOILERS on last 2 page
Well, the story is not very well developed yet. And as my story pertains to a certain current arc, I'm leaving these ideas alone until I see how it pans out. But my ideas involve Emma, Azzy, Belasco, or all of them and the long-term effects of "psychic tampering."

Katrina Disaster in New Orleans
Good news is that my brother-in-law made it to Baton Rouge okay. Of course, he didn't know if he'd find a place to stay there, but at least he's gotten away from all the flooding and the crazies with the AK-47's.

This happens when I'm feeling especially creative. But I've been listening to a lot of 19th century stuff lately. Beethoven, Schubert, Verdi, pretty much all of them except Wagner. (There's an explanation as to why in a fic I'm finishing.)

I agree with Zam's idea. And I have even more ideas as to possible reasons for Kurt getting his own memories wrong.

Katrina Disaster in New Orleans
What really bothered me was when they issued the "mandatory" evacuation, nothing was done to ensure that people could evacuate. And so once phone communications went, the only thing my husband and I could do was pray, scout web sites, and watch the news in hopes of any shot proving my brot...

Oh, this seems like it's going to get funny! I also like the verbal sparring with Brian.

One-eyed Nightcrawler???
I'd like to see an explanation for that, too. The most likely story I can think of (tragic accident while foolishly fencing without a mask) is woefully dull. And while my favorite blue elf may be reckless at times, I don't like to think of him as a klutz.

I watched the movie again. Indeed, he says "Gehen Sie aus." No R.

First of all, it's "Gehen Sie aus," not "raus."
Also, I suppose it would stand to reason that Kurt would not speak perfect Hochdeutsch, being Bavarian. But since I'm not familiar with Bayern Dialekt, I can't really say.

Sabre. Definitely. At least that should be his preferred weapon for fencing. (Foil and epee don't appear particularly conducive to his unique grip.)

Charm doesn't have to even be a mutant power. But it's rather like sweet talking someone to get your way. If they know you're only piling on the charm to manipulate someone, they'll see right through it.
