It's in Excalibur, I believe the Ellis run. I'll see if I can find it. Not Ellis, but Richard Ashford, drawn by Ken Lashly (Excalibur #72) and Terry Shoemaker (Excalibur #73). Kurt teleports into a wall on the last page of #72, and Kitty phases them out of the wall on the first page of #73. [Edited ...

Well, according to Christian teaching, to fit the Messiah bill, you actually have to do something like sacrifice your life for others and then resurrect. Erm, I'm not trying to start a fight here, but let's give credit where credit's due. The messiah business is Jewish . There's been more than one ...

I expect to see religion and faith become a huge propionate in this plot. Anyone else seeing that develop? Wouldn't it be grand if Kurt turned out to be the Mutant Messiah, instead of Hope? I would love that. Hey! That means he will be back in three days, Marvel Universe time. [Edited on 14/5/10 by...

I'm sure there is more than one Catholic mutant. I believe Havok is Catholic, courtesy of Mr. Austin. There is the girl whose leg was cut off recently. Sorry, I can't remember her name at the moment. I thought Rockslide and Sunspot were Catholic, also. What you have here is a lack of Presbyterians.:...

I posted a question on Formspring, so that will be the end of that. Every time I ask one of those Marvel editors a question, they disappear.

I don't know what to write anymore.:( I left a message for Joe Q. on his question thread, which he hasn't responded to for two weeks now, and asked him very politely to "Bring him back, Bub!" I left a message on Tom Brevoort's blog, asking him when Nightcrawler would be back. They never re...

Change that to: I want him to write more about Nightcrawler and less about Scotty and Emma.

Yeah, that's the Astonishing preview. I know it's off-topic, but Ult_Sm86 said he wanted something to poke fun at, and that looked promising.
I'll try to find some Second Coming stuff to poke fun at.

I assume they are being cheerful to mask the pain of losing Kurt.
Kurt who???
Oh yeah! That dead guy we baked over the grill on "Movie Night".

Do you think if I offered to make Bamf dolls for them, they would bring him back?
"Dear Mr. Quesada,
Please bring Kurt back, not as a demon, and I will make you a fuzzy little Bamf doll for your very own to hug and kiss."
Very sincerely,

How should nightcrawler return?
Well it is nice to see everyone chattering away about the Elf dying the way he did. Nightcrawler had to die, to keep the plot of 2nd Coming going. You have to see the gravity of the whole picture, and his death shows how dark things are. 200 mutants left and dropping fast. Scott has his wet team ta...

Drastic, your definition of faith is far too narrow. Faith validated and confirmred with knowledge is not destroyed, but strengthened. Faith is also not just belief. It's trust and confidence, which are not to be given out blindly. Which is why Nightcrawler saying he believed in Hope was, in my opi...

They have Vanisher and--technically, if she's even still around?--Layla Miller who, aside from Kurt, is the most powerful teleporter ever. She teleports between universes. She also has the ability to further a dried up plot and move things along. Vanisher's not currently on Utopia, and they've got ...

Definitely unreal. I skipped over everything but Logan's panels. In my opinion, if the book only consisted of the panels with Logan, it would be a good book. They were the only parts worth reading. His expression was so sad it made me want to cry. The rest was unnecessary. [Edited on 7/5/10 by nelin...

I was just coming here to post that link, Angelique. I'm sick of all the death. Thanks a lot, Marvel! Here's the link to the preview for the next story in this thoroughly depressing crossover arc: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=5138&disp=table [Edited on 8/5/10 by neling4]

Hope revived Rogue when Rogue was in a coma, and Hope was just a baby at the time. Kurt didn't die right away. She could have tried.

Cool Jeremus! :) Good for you, Angelique! By the way, I started a new Nightcrawler Appreciation Thread on the Marvel.com forum, as our old one is gone forever. I searched almost fifty pages of threads, no Nightcrawler. No Gambit either, so they have started a new one too. Only Jean Grey and, of all ...

I will not be reading it either. They completely lost me with the death of Kurt.
I will pick up one or two other issues featuring Kurt, like the Wolverine: Weapon X Requiem issue, then Mr. Claremont's Forever series will be all I read.
