This is revolting
I lost a college classmate on one of the flights that hit the World Trade Center, and my cousin's wife was in the Pentagon at the time it was hit (She's okay). As someone who was directly impacted by the event, I find that extremely disgusting. What was that person thinking?

My Crazy Neighbor
I hope this woman's family gets her the help she desperately needs. I really sympathize with you. One of my husband's sisters is schizophrenic, but it took until she was almost thirty for the family to finally admit it. We've been dealing with her fantasies and occasional violence for years. Hubby a...

New Fic: Of Friends, Gods, and Monsters
I finally got around to reading this and I really liked it. Ororo is my favorite pairing with Kurt. I appreciate your keeping the Kurt and Logan stuff light. I am not at all a fan of Logurt, although you do a pretty good job of showing that a friendship can be intense without necessarily being sexua...

I totally agree with Nacht on this one. My exact impression was Meh. This is supposed to reboot the X-franchise? I've already said I wouldn't be picking up Uncanny X-Force even if Kurt is on it. Besides the reasons I've already stated, I can't stand most of the other members of the team. The only tw...

Karl, I think what was being discussed was the latest "Origins" single issue. I only recently got a hold of this through Ebay, and I was really disappointed. I know maybe they were attempting to untwist a back story that had gotten so convoluted it was hard to follow, but it left me feelin...

I just recently posted in this forum, but guess I didn't say much about myself. You all can call me Indy if you like. (I don't give away my name or location because of an Internet stalker issue a couple years back.) I've actually been lurking Nightscrawlers off and on since the second X-Man movie. R...

OMG, that video is both hilarious and awesome at the same time. Thanks so much, although the background music will be stuck in my head the rest of the day.
I never did get a chance to see this movie in the theater, but I'm definitely picking up the DVD.

I couldn't have summarized my feelings better than that Garble. The Doctor's Wife was an amazing episode, and one of my all time favorites. Neil Gaiman is a genius. Of the newer run companions, I like Donna the most. She was more the Doctor's equal when it came to a thirst for things unknown. I'm no...

Lorna would be an interesting add, especially if she comes out on daddy's side first then switches allegiances. Sage would be cool, and since the British connection to American entertainment is on the rise, I wouldn't be surprised if Betsy wasn't included in one of the next sequels if they do any mo...

Just the Doctor
I have been a big fan of The Doctor for a long time. My family used to make fun of me when I watched it on public broadcasting as a kid because they thought the earlier shows were a little campy, but I loved them. I must say that the reboot has been even better. The story lines are well executed. I'...

AoA Nightcrawler (Darkholme) in Uncanny X-Force Teaser Image
This entire undertaking has almost the majority of Elf fans teeming and cuddling with anticipation. Majority? Really? I visit other forums and what I am mostly seeing is sorta pissed Nightcrawler fans that understand that this means that 616 Nightcrawler may never return. Some are happy to have Kur...

AoA Nightcrawler (Darkholme) in Uncanny X-Force Teaser Image
Thank you Rowena, that was very well stated :clap I don't think I have ever seen 616 Nightcrawler's character summarized with such depth of understanding. With great sadness I have watched most of the writers of the last decade waste a gem of a character, tarnishing him to a point they felt they had...

AoA Nightcrawler (Darkholme) in Uncanny X-Force Teaser Image
Ult_Sm86 - Apparently you never read the 12 issue third solo series. That dealt with paranormal and mystical issues, but Kurt was NOT a priest. And I don't know why you jumped all over me for a typo. :shakeno I agree totally with Angelique. Since House of M, some of the writers have resorted to reli...

AoA Nightcrawler (Darkholme) in Uncanny X-Force Teaser Image
I own and have read all the AoA books. I didn't particularly care for them. I'm not sure why some people keep harping on the whole priest thing. Kurt hasn't been a priest for years. In fact, after the Draco debacle when Claremont took Uncanny back, little was mentioned about it and Kurt was back in ...

AoA Nightcrawler (Darkholme) in Uncanny X-Force Teaser Image
I'm sorry to be a killjoy, but this isn't good news IMHO. I loved Kurt for who he was - Dave and CC's Kurt, Excalibur Kurt. If this means THAT Kurt is never coming back, it's like twisting the knife in last year's wound. This is a poor substitute and I feel betrayed. And don't talk like writers coul...

Took a short vacation on the Florida coast and got to watch a sea turtle lay her eggs. Also helped release baby leather back turtles into the surf and helped a turtle biologist wrangle down a large green sea turtle so he could tag her with a tracking device. It was the coolest thing!

Yeah maybe, and it's sort of the right color.
I'm trying not to hold my breath because Marvel has burned me too many times if I get my hopes too high.

Knowing Marvel's past history, they are probably just messing with the Nightcrawler fans, but AOA is better than no Kurt at all. I just have to hold out hope that my favorite version of our fuzzy elf will be back sooner or later.

Had a lot of rain camping and had to sleep in my minivan one night because it was so wet. All in all the trip was refreshing and invigorating. I've been back a few days, but the first day back I woke up sick. I'm better now and back online.

I'm sorry, but I would be severely upset if Marvel made Kurt a villain, or even if they chose to exchange the old Kurt with the AOA version. I loved Kurt the way he was in Excalibur especially. It is the fact that Kurt could have become resentful bitter person because of his circumstances, but he ch...

Long-time lurker saying Hi
Thanks again
Hehe Angelique - I'm a dreamer and a romantic, so what can I say.
Oh, and if I disappear for a little bit it's not because I already lost interest again. I'm going for a 10 day camping trip starting this Saturday.

Indigo Lady, Azazel was the perfect russian assassin-like murdering bastard in this movie, and his fighting was really good. Best thing... he didn't have much dialogue anyways, so no worries about him stealing any shows. His role is more of a henchman than anything else. Thanks Steyn, that's a reli...

Well, I just "rediscovered" my interest in Kurt, but since he has disappeared from just about every title, this is one of the only places I can find Nightcrawler material. I can only hope he won't be dead too long. As to the lack of postings, it's not surprising. There really isn't much ne...

I'm still on the fence about seeing this movie. I would have liked to have forgotten completely about the whole Azazel thing. Plus, I already told Marvel they wouldn't get another penny of my money until Kurt was brought back. I wanted to wait until it came out on video, but your comments make me wa...
