Picked up a shiny new toy to replace my brick. It is much smaller and lighter, but has better sound quality and lots of other crap. Working on customizing now, which is a pain in the ass but should be worth it.

I did it!! I got over my pathological cheapness and bought myself a bed!! It's exactly what I wanted: double, storage space underneath (NOT a given here at all), and it came with a microfiber blanket as well as many many other blankets which I am going to go donate to the cat shelter right now.

I still haven't got a bed. Finding a free bed around here is easy, moving it back to my house is the problem. My language skills aren't high enough to shop around for reasonably priced delivery, and it drives me crazy. There is no way delivery should cost $40 when a taxi going the same distance cost...

And I'm stressing about this shop, which is just...making me feel worse. Because I'm going for a £12k loan, that if the damned bitch sells out from underneath me I won't be able to pay back. What black hole does the money go into if you don't use it to buy anything? I am tired of my job and I need...
