Re: Apocalyptic Kurt
The picture was already taken off Bryan Singer's instagram, but a quick search online will find you the image, available in still, gif, or video. Worth noticing: no scars, which is good. Fun eighties hair and outfit. And a splash of red and black on his shoulders, an homage to the comics. Maybe we'l...

Re: Apocalyptic Kurt
This is an article that come out today (This particular source is http://x-menfilms.com/kodi-smit-mcphee-on-portraying-nightcrawler-in-xmen-apocalypse/ ) "Superhero Hype caught up with 18 yo actor Kodi Smit-McPhee who plays a younger version of Nightcrawler in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. The actor says ...

Teleport escapes?
So, I was reading a Nightcrawler vs Hellboy :hellboy battle fanfic and there were moments when Kurt accidentally bamfed with Hellboy in tow, due to brushing against or HB grabbing onto Kurt's clothes. Got me thinking... We know Kurt has some degree of control of what he can teleport, and even portio...

Re: Aaron leaves Amazing X - Kyle & Yost to take over
So, the new arc of Amazing X-Men. I'm having a really good time reading this. The character development of Colossus is insightful and accurate. The fact that they aren't afraid to explore the darker side of Peter is a welcome change to the tone of the book. I'm glad that this arc is happening. Also,...

Re: We maybe can save Nightcrawler
And that's something I'm not complaining about! He deserves as much spotlight as anyone!!! As for the ending to Nightcrawler #10, (trying not to spoil) the state of his eternal soul has only been implied, not proven. Who really knows whether or not Kurt is doomed, but let's just hope we don't find o...

Re: Claremont to return to Nightcrawler!
I would jump on that book in a heartbeat... it's funny you mention it, because it feels like Marvel is starting to take more and more "B-List" characters and bring them to the foreground of comics. Just look at Uncanny X-Force... Fantomex, Puck, Psylocke, Archangel... all had successful st...

Re: Claremont to return to Nightcrawler!
Amazing X-Men #14 saw a boost due to the Axis tie in... Just saying. However, part of the appeal of the Nightcrawler series was that it was detached from all the crap happening around the Marvel universe (aside from Death of Wolverine; the tie in there saw a massive spike in sales for the book).

Welp. We saw this coming, but it doesn't hurt any less... http://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/12/16/marvel-cancels-x-force-nightcrawler-invaders-ghost-rider-march-solicitations-2015/ Despite outselling many titles, Nightcrawler goes to the chopping block. Storm and Cyclops also slated to get the axe. T...

Re: Claremont to return to Nightcrawler!
So, issue #8 came out yesterday; a few things... First of all, we start the issue with Nightcrawler, the X-Men, and the Jean Grey School trying to adjust to the new dynamic without Wolverine around and everything seems to be slowly getting back to normal. It's good to know that everything doesn't go...

Re: AoA Kurt may be back... AGAIN!
Is it wrong that I still want to see him on a team with the core X-Men for a while longer? I love the dynamic with old friends, new enemies, and nostalgia. I feel there are so many more facets to explore before Kurt goes off the deep end, even though I think it's too late for that now. I like fun, l...

Re: AoA Kurt may be back... AGAIN!
So, this is really exciting. I'm surprised this is the first I'm hearing about this massive event. Here are my thoughts: 1. With all these large events happening within the Marvel Universe over the past few years, I've gotten used to the idea of a concept like this. However, stuff like this really c...

Re: Aaron leaves Amazing X - Kyle & Yost to take over
Honestly though, how did you expect it to end? I got everything out of it that I was expecting... fighting on several fronts, big mystical solution, everyone lives happily ever after (except Logan. Too soon?). My question is, and there are spoilers here fyi, if Storm, Firestar, Iceman, and Rockslide...

Re: What do you want to see in Nicrawler's current book
Sounds like you really enjoyed Darick Robertson's 2004 Nightcrawler solo book! It centered around paranormal crime and mysterious happenings. It was a very unique take on the character, in that it's not really his shtick. He's good at sleuthing :) I think Nightcrawler should see some action as well,...

Re: What do you want to see in Nicrawler's current book
I am so in love with his outfit. I'm probably in the minority here, but I like the retro look. Granted, the swashbuckler look suits him well. Given the right outfit, I'd be okay... but seeing a character go back to their roots is a beautiful thing.

Re: Claremont to return to Nightcrawler!
Simone is a good choice if they were to replace Claremont, or decide to pair him wiith someone. Not Bendis... I think tonally his style wouldn't match up with the current direction of the book. I like where things are going and I'd hate to see it turn into crazy action book. Granted, the first arc w...

Here is the Todd Nauck interview I mentioned above. My question is around 2:30 (I'm Robert Anderegg), so there's that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GI3j7t4VLwE I have to disagree with you Ult_Sm86. I like the guide through memory lane. It could be overkill at times, but it helps the reader really...

Re: Claremont to return to Nightcrawler!
I loved #7 as well! It serves as a great stand alone comic for fans of both Nightcrawler and Wolverine, and of their bromance. Todd Nauck NAILED the artwork, especially the nods to past events, such as the creation of Excalibur and the scene where Kurt and Logan drink beer while Colossus fights Jugg...
