Soundtrack for Nightcrawler

psychonaut, such a compilation would without a doubt be illegal; I suggest you review United States copyright law. Do not request help from Nightscrawlers members or staff, please, and do not link such a project to or from Nightscrawlers. Thank you, Nightscrawler's Technical Administrator on behalf ...

Why is the avatar gallery disabled?

The avatar gallery has been temporarily disabled because it has not been updated for compatibility with the version of the forum software we're using. It's somewhat low priority, but we are in the process of fixing it.

Thank you!

Chat Temporarily Offline

Due to an error made while working on the server that cut off all remote access, Nightscrawlers Chat is temporarily offline until a technician in Arizona can log in and turn it back on.

We apologize profusely for the inconvenience.

Chat Link - Delay

As of October 14, 2006, the user count displayed on the link to Nightscrawlers Chat is a delayed count; this means it may or may not be equal to the number of users currently online if someone entered or exited recently. The maximum amount of time this count will be delayed for is ten minutes; gener...

Chat Downtime

That is because Nightscrawlers hasn't noticed the change yet, and it's checking the old server. It'll update soon; it's all up to the host and its ISP. Your earlier problem was due to a server upgrade not supported by Chat; Chat had to be rewritten slightly to be compatible with the newer version. I...

Migration is in fact complete as of this writing. Nightscrawlers Chat is fully functional on the new server, and root servers have been updated with its new location. However, it may take some time for these changes to trickle down to your ISP and your computer; 24 hours at the most. Therefore, if y...

The upgrade is again going to take place how it was originally planned, which is a very stable procedure. So please keep in mind if there are any interruptions in service that upgrades are in progress; they should be completed within a few days, a week at the latest. The move should be transparent. ...

Forum Upgrade

The forum software on Nightscrawlers will be upgraded either tonight or early tomorrow. As with any upgrade, there will inevitably be problems; we have a comprehensive plan to make sure all hacks are carried over and code doesn't point to anything that doesn't exist anymore, but we all know what hap...

Within the next two days, I will be moving all the domains and accounts I host from one server to another, then decommissioning the old server. The final domain to be moved is the domain currently serving Nightscrawlers Chat; therefore, Nightscrawlers Chat may be offline for a short interval sometim...

Since the forum settings have been switched back to nightscrawlers.com (and the redirection has been put back in place), you may need to log in again to nightscrawlers.com (though it's unlikely) if you have been using nightscrawlers.co.uk for the last day. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank y...

What's up with nightscrawlers.com?

If you're visiting this site as nightscrawlers.co.uk, then you probably already know that there are problems with the nightscrawlers.com domain. Some people are seeing an advertising page for tractors and such and some people are not, depending on their ISP. Our problem is that the nightscrawlers.co...

Chat Migration

On May 9, 2006, the Nightscrawlers chat software was moved to another server located in Scottsdale, AZ, maintained by yours truly. Over the last few months, interruptions in service have continued to degrade quality of service. On this new server, there should be minimal to zero interruptions in ser...

Theoretically, yes, but that can be changed. I'm going to defer to the Creative Administrator on adding new smilies, but if we do add yours, she or I can fix the white background.

Recent Downtime

I'd like to apologise on behalf of the Nightscrawlers team for the recent downtime preventing use of the Nightscrawlers forum and chat. This downtime was a side affect of an attempted server move. Our server, which was in our host's Texas datacenter, had some minor technical issues and routine disru...

StarChild, we have not been hacked. The downtime earlier today was caused to an error on our part or on the server's. I can not comment on what to do about these chat members; that's a job for a chat moderator or administrator.
