Dave's perspectives on X-Men

I think of Xavier as a Mister Miogi to the X-Men, he tells them what needs to be done because he has a thrive for adventure and (Since he's a cripple) he wants to be a part of the adventure along with his team. For him to to that he must channel into their minds. As for persuasion, I think Xavier ha...

Dave's perspectives on X-Men

Sometimes I think a stiff punishment would help. When artist are late? They don't get paid or a reduce in salary. How was the industry when you first got hired? I do remember reading your wonderful story of a blizzard and you sweet talked Stan Leiber to come into office along with you. What book did...

Dave's perspectives on X-Men

What are your thought on late books? Marvel recently hired J. Scott Campbell, a man who's notorious in producing late books GEN-13--DANGERGIRL--and WILDSIDERZ--a series which was originally an on going series in July 2005 until the second issue which WAS late came out in Nov. 2005 and became a limit...

I can't understand why Marvel don't listen you. Have you tried consulting Quasada and Co. ? What should be done to the X-Men to make things return to way it supposed to be? How is your vision Dave? Was it Doctor Ruddy Wells (THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN) who did your procedure on your Bionic eye?;)

Thanks, Paty. I've been on forums where the last reader misunderstood what the discussion was about. Someone express their opinions with spades and all and then whole war springs out. My spider-senses is way off this time. Sorry about that. I love Jim Lee's work and his contributions to Uncanny but ...

I love Storm's costume and I'm a fan of the belly costumes. It never occurred to me it was offensive to women. I always saw these books as male books but this is not the case. Oooops. +++++ I don't understand why The New Mutants are not called The New Mutants. It was cool to have the younger student...

Another thing that bothered gravely in the film: Superman, after returning to earth(That's a laugh Superman abandoning earth?), takes a baseball and throws it at full velocity. The first thing that came out from my mouth was OMG he just killed somebody! This is terrible directing and not fully under...

The difference between Donner's film and Singer's is heart, and respecting the mythology. What Donner did with Christopher Reeve was make him understand SUPERMAN WAS RAISED ON EARTH! He was willing to do the unthinkable going back in time to change what went wrong and deliver the perfect subtext to ...

Paty, Do you think it was a mistake to have Magneto be the father of Quicksilver and The Scarlet Witch? In your opinion was Magneto supposed to have children in his original design?

Who thought of the idea that Wanda and Pietro were Erik's own and did you approve?

Originally posted by Dark Bamf I don't have a problem with Quicksilver and Wanda being Magneto's children. We know he was married to Magda, who was terrified of his powers, and presumably she was their mother. I think it enrichens the Magneto backstory. But if you want the real authoritatyive viewp...

The All New, All Different X-Men were masterpieces. Were there influences during the time to design revolutionary outfits for these new band of heroes?

Paty, you and Dave are class acts. Where are you from originally and where were you raised? You have a homely/good teacher privado between you two. It's very welcoming and I appreciate that in the both of you.

Thank you very much.

What do you think was Magneto's mission statement and do you think Magneto is... Evil? One of my personal nitpicks with Bryan Singer's X-Men was he thought of Magneto as Malcolm X, who in my opinion was a great man WHO finally saw the flaws in his activities and tried desperately to repent and event...

We got rid of the name Marvel Girl because both Chris and I thought it was stupid. *** Why? Do you still feel that way and were there talks on a proper codename that would benefit her? John Byrne renamed the Invisible Girl to the Invisible Woman. Maybe you guys could have called her Marvel Woman? :D

I've seen Futurians and they are really good. My only critique, and who am I to critique, is the colors of their costumes I think if the colors were darker they would have an edge to them. Your work benefits with darker colors because of it's emphasis on drama. Your characters don't simply punch som...
