Merry Christmas Scrawlers
I know I haven't been around all that much lately (There never seems to be enough time in the day anymore) but I hope to be present more often in the coming months.
I also want to wish everyone a prosperous and peaceful New Year.

Kitten War!
Aaaaw, is that your kitten? He certainly would win a lot of kitten battles. Too bad mine are all adult cats. Maybe I could scan a couple of kitten pics.

Well,
Some of the Excalibur villains that come to mind are Gatecrasher, Mojo, Spiral, Arcade, and D’Spayre.

Wanted: Pumpkin Carving Ideas
Not normally having anywhere to go where I can get really dressed up, I usually get my Halloween kicks out of honing my pumpkin carving skills. I wish I had picks of some of the things I've done, including Garfield, Larry Boy from "Veggie Tales" (complete with plunger ears) and last year's...

Geez do I have some catching up to do. I didn't realize I'd been gone from the board this long. Love your adult Kurt, better and much cuter than most of the comic book artists IMHO. And the Halloween comic is so typical kidstuff. I would have loved to see my baby sister cling to the wall every time ...

I agree Bluefooted,
I certainly don't want to see Chamber erased from the Marvel Universe, particularly since I am now playing him in an online RPG.

Very happy to see you back on the board Darick. I think I speak for most of the 'Scrawlers when I say you where missed.
From the preview of the next issue, I can tell you I wait in great anticipation and ask myself why Marvel has to be so stubborn.

Nightcrawler to be CG in X3?
Looks like Kurt may be in X3 after all, as a cameo CGI.
According to The Can Magazine
It's better than nothing, but it still doesn't make me want to go see this mishmash. It was probably a token bone thrown at us Nighty fans, as if they thought we wouldn't notice.

Thanks Nandy, I didn't see that you edited your post with that update when I posted earlier.
That certainly is a relief to know. With all the things that have been happening with Nightcrawler all at the same time, I was afraid Marvel was trying to obliterate the fuzzy elf.

Uncanny X-Men General Discussion Reload
I just got the next installment of Uncanny- #464. Has anyone else lost interest in this particular story arc? I find that I can't wait until this House of M stuff is over. I don't know if it's because Kurt is completely absent in Uncanny and my only source of comics have not been selling the separat...

Thanks for the address Lysistrata. I have recently lost weight and have two garbage bags full of cloths that no longer fit. I'm going to try to get a box in the mail today. It seems hard to find words to express how this tragedy has affected me, especially having gone through two hurricanes last yea...

I think Northstar nailed it for me. Your faces are so expressive. They tell as much of a story as the captions do. That's hard to draw well in comic form, but I think it's why I like these so much. And this is one of the funniest ones you've done so far. I think Stephan was just jealous of the atten...

Another joke thread........
Yeay for the joke thread. :) I like blonde jokes. My daughter is blonde and I use them as good-natured ribbing. She laughs just as hard as I do. Here are some of my favorites. I got them from a website that gives equal time to female and male blondes. Hope none of my blonde friends take them serious...

Oh God, please don't let this rumor be true. I swear if they do I will never buy another Marvel product of any form again if they either kill Kurt of shelve him in limbo. However, it is something I was beginning to fear, give all the signs. Nightcrawler is one of the most popular X-Men and has been ...

I'm from Pennsylvania originally, Amish country. I'm not Amish myself, although I am mostly ethnic German.
However, I'm now a Florida transplant and as of this year, have lived longer in Florida than anywhere else. Maybe not much longer if I get hit by one more hurricane.

Should Nightcrawler be in "Wolverine" movie?
I could be wrong about this, and I can't substantiate it with a reference, but I believe Marvel has a tighter hold over their franchise than that. Avi Arid is CEO of Marvel Studios and does have a say in what goes into these movies. I know for a fact that there was a FF movie produced a few years ag...

Comic Book Readers without the Y Chromosome
We no longer have a comic book shop anywhere near me. Walden and Books-a-million have a limited supply of comics. I get funny looks when I buy comics at either store, but considering the cashiers are usually women, I think it’s more because of my age then my gender. There is a newsstand type store t...

Originally posted by Lysistrata Ooh...I have no idea if this is true or not, but I've heard rumors the premise behind Nocturne's presence in UXM's House of M crossover is that she really IS the daughter of HoM Wanda and Kurt - and her existance is quite the family scandal. Of course, since Wanda's ...
