Gambit would definitely be a plus, and I would most definitely love to see him in it, but I think Beast will be the next character introduced in order to keep the balance of character personalities.

Aw, those eyes are so darned cute! Makes you just want to reach out and hug him!

I'd have to say short hair is Nighty's best look. Although his long hair in Evo is cute, and makes him look totally adorable.
