Welcome back, Dave!!!
As a side note I've been collecting and reading the Legion archives (in order) and we FINALLY got up to yours! You really brought them back to greatness!
Many hugs!

Exactly! I find them less comfortable than a lot of things.Originally posted by Garble
Nor is there any reason to wear them. The only support they offer is the elastic squeezing your waist.

There are all manner (männer? Hmm) of interesting men's underclothes from Germany, actually, and one style I've seen both there and here is a "y-back" thong which would indeed have a place for his tail while not losing its essential thonginess (as it were). Don't know if Kurt would be into...

My new avatar (bearded Banshee *swoon*) is closer than anything else we have available here. Except my hair is brown with grey temples, I have glasses, and it's a beard rather than a goatee. And I'm not in remotely as good shape as he is. But other than all that...

I've gotta say, while I have skimmed some of the Earth X books and some of the ideas are interesting, much of it is -- well, too based on "everything you know is wrong." Those stories only work well very rarely (Alan Moore on Swamp Thing worked, in my view; Jean Grey's return for X-Factor ...

Hi!
Wow! I haven't waded through all 20 pages (!) of this thread yet, but here I am. I'm 35, in Washington DC, not an artist, and discovered Kurt, Dante, and related things in 1980 at the age of 13 with X-Men Annual 4, "Nightcrawler's Inferno." Loved X-Men up till about 1984 or 85, kind of dro...

I was 13 when X-Men Annual #4 came out in 1980 and Kurt was 21 then. I'm 35 now. Kurt should be 43 or 44 now, really... (I was Kitty's age when she was introduced. If she'd aged normally she would also be 35. It'll be vaguely strange in ten years when the year 2013 (1) is actually here and there are...

HOW DID NIGHTCRAWLER COME TO BE CREATED?
Well, I always liked Kurt's faith (sorry! My first X-men comics was Annual #4 in 1980, where it was kind of central; got me into Dante, too...) but I do find him becoming a priest kind of odd -- and suspect it was a case of "he's religious, therefore he must become clergy," as if people ca...
