Schiavo autopsy finally released... (the new religion thread
Yeah the Boy Scouts is ultra religious. That was the major reason I was never in it. As far as I can tell, this seems to be one of those "give the people what they want" types of deals. Face it, religion isn't as strong as it used to be, and a lot of people are sick of the rules. This is t...

Schiavo autopsy finally released... (the new religion thread
This bring up a very interesting point. I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses and as some of you may or may not know, we maintain political neutrality, which includes not participating in military service. The reasons behind this is in keeping with the idea that Jesus was politically neutral. "No part...

Schiavo autopsy finally released... (the new religion thread?)
(Okay okay, I'll step into this thread.) The military is not trying to violate religious freedom. The idea is that there is a religious service for everyone. Obviously it can't be done exactly to everyone's standards of practice, but if you join the military, this should be something you would know....

Awesome Christmas/Chanuka gifts
Originally posted by Angelique Every now and then, my husband has these moments of total awesome-ness. (Is that even a word?) Today, for Christmas, he gave me Robin Hood on DVD. Sorry to put on my Moderator hat here guys but I have a question: Is this thread a game, ala Word Association or the Person Above You, or is it an actual discussion about music? If it's the latter, great. A music thread would be a welcome addition here and I'm sure many of the forum members have ple...

You know how on shows like Sliders they would phase out the original cast members until only the annoying black guy was left?
This kinda feels like that.
Hate to see ya go, but best of luck with the rest of your life.

She was signed on to play Shadowcat was back when Shadowcat was in the plot, but last I checked they had revised the script and written her out of it again. Dunno the whole story though because I haven't been following the movie news lately.

I think what is meant is that someone gets a picture from the X-men comics/tv shows/ movie with multiple characters. They post it and then write a caption for what the characters in the picture would be saying. Assumably it would be a funny caption. (So exactly what you posted Blue_demon, but only x...

I would say that Nightcrawler would win hands down. The ability to port rapidly around someone and get in multiple punches from different angles is way better than throwing crap. Honestly they really don't make NC as bad ass as he should be. Every once in a while he pull something cool and you have ...

Keeping the thread alive. :D Episode 4 has aired now, any thoughts? Myself, I'm a big Hurley fan. Plot wise we didn't get too much, this was almo...
