this coffee tastes like ass

I've just been in a car crash and my shiny new car I only got 8 months ago has probably been totaled! :bawl if that's not bad enough now I won't be able to get to circus school untill my insurance has coughed up and even then my insurance is probably going to skyrocket.
This is not a good day :bawl

People are just odd

I was chatting to one of my friends the other day about the Wolverine movie and I got started on my rant about how fantastic Nightcrawler is and how they really need to get back to the version I like (and give him fure for God sake!) when just before falling asleep from bordom my friend pointed out ...

Prince Caspian

I think the point of the flirting between Susan and Caspian was intended to show that Susan was becomming a grown up more than any of the others. Also in the horse and his boy there is the suggestion (or I remember it being hinted at) that she was a bit of a flirt and received a lot of attention fro...

lol... wasn't telling you off hon, I was being dirty minded... Sorry I'm quite sure the older you get the deeper your mind slips into the gutter! Yes I liked TimMan, I thought it had a lot of potential to be excellant. Even the slightly ropy storyline could have been pulled off if they had actually ...

Musical Theatre: Any fans?

I've been to see Phantom in London 3 times and I loved it every time. I've got the movie and it realy does not do it justice at all. In order to get Phantom I think you need to be right up in there near the live actors feeling the electricity on the stage.... Ok, now I think I've talked myself into ...

Is it okay for priests to play jokes?

OMG, The guy played a joke, it backfied. These things happen. He probably didn't realise that so many people were that crazy about his podcast. And people have no right to be angry about everything they did to try to help him because they tried to do a good thing, their anger just shows that they we...

X-Men Film Series: Continuity Issues

I think the Fox X-Men movies started out ok but kinda lost the plot around X-2 (which I still liked) and went very squiffy around X-3. Your point about the wrighting could very well account for that. I'm hoping that as the Wolverine movie was fab (biased, didn't really pay much attention after the n...

Nightcrawler film is approved!!!!

I'm with you October. They may have completely failed on creating a good Nightcrawler in the movie but I don't care, I still go all warm and fuzzy when I see the White House scene :LOL I'm not sure what all the fuss is about the accent though. Having travelled all be it breifly in Germany and Austri...

Acrobats are supposed to be buff and muscley. Small as in short, but still very very fit. I thought Alan Cumming was an extremely poor choice for the part. Aerial acrobats don't need to be short but they do need incredible strength in both their upper bodies and legs. Someone with Alans physique wo...

Oooo... cool

I love the way Huge really loves being Wolverine. It's so nice for a change to have an actor as passionate about an iconic characture as the fans are... He's sooo cool and I'm not just saying that coz he's cute as hell (but it helps) :love

Hi everyone, :wave I'm very new here, only dropped in at the weekend but it seems like my kinda place. I living in England and have been a fan of the X-men since I saw the old cartoons on Saturday morning when I was teeny (I'm only 5'2 so I'm still pretty teeny!) then discovered Nightcrawler about 5...

The Nightcrawler as a Roman Catholic Superhero FAQ

Just wanted to say a thankyou to you SK for for writing all this. I've never really understood all the Catholic stuff (not much for organised religion me ;) ) but the explanation not only explained a lot but was also quite enjoyable (not to mention making me nearly drop my computer at the "prey...
