7/31 Announcement: Forum Upgrades

The database has been migrated and the forum software has been upgraded. In addition, there has been quite a bit of cleanup in the database and on the forum. As noted before, we've temporarily lost the custom modifications we made to the forum software; Nightscrawlers-specific features will shortly ...

I am having trouble posting links to Photobucket.

HTML is not allowed on the forums; is there an option for BBCode? Also, if you're using BBCode (the [img] tag is BBCode), then there is no size limit of which I am aware. The forum plays no part in the display of the image.

I am having trouble posting links to Photobucket.

It shouldn't have anything to do with the upgrade. How are you trying to do it?

Scrolling Sig

If you were to attempt to use the same signature now, due to forum settings, its contents would simply all display at once, since you can no longer use tags and CSS directives in signatures. The reasons for this change have been stated above. If you want to use images, use [img], keeping forum rules...

Scrolling Sig

The main problem was not the size of the signature; the workaround was novel. The main problem, as stated in the U2U, was that HTML in signatures may adversely affect board layout and function. It was not meant to be enabled; it has recently been re-disabled, and thus, your signature by necessity lo...

If you cleared your cookies, then you're logged out; there's no way to maintain your session on this forum without cookies. So the only other possibility is caching.

Trouble logging out

This problem cropped up due to the former integration of the forums and the gallery. Hopefully, they are now re-integrated and you should be able to log out properly. If not, click Gallery, and then click Logout [Rowena]. Logging in and logging out should then be successful (try that only if the for...

New Chat issues

Indeed, the new chat system has been implemented. I have a lengthy to-do list, including finishing up the "look and feel" and adding smilies, but it is essentially complete. To log in, simply specify a "nickname" and a password. If you haven't used said "nickname" on the new chat system before, it w...

This issue has been fixed, and was due to security precautions on the new host, over which we do have co...
