The Crappiness of X3

Originally posted by HoodedMan Originally posted by anteresi It's a crime shame NOT to include Gambit and literally omit Nightcrawler for budget reasons. So yeah, I'm quite pissed off. The Crappiness of X3

I love how totally not white/not American all the new badguys were.

And oh, the designs of woe! The designs!

i'm trying to block it. This time last year my diatribe against this movie was very, very long.

Ultimate X-Men General Discussion

Like it or not, the crazy was a long time in coming. That was one thing that bothered me about this incarnation, where he was all jumping around, happy go-lucky, and it's not really touched on, the fact that hey, wasn't he, you know, physically and mentally tortured for a pretty fair piece of time? ...

Heh, sounds like you don't think too much of the man.

But that's awesome, when did you get to play with movie set pieces?

I was kind of wondering the same thing. Ah well, maybe the way they're facing has no logic to it, but I guess we can assume come September we'll know who's on what side! I enjoy Wolverine in that picture. Right in the middle, and doesn't seem happy! But damn, Kurt looks about 70! Moisturize, Kurt! [...

Well, given the way people are postured, I guess who's on what side can be pretty well inferred. Look's like Kurt's with the good cap!

I think you have to consider it some kind of bad fic thing. Damn, I feel like such a downer in regard to everything that's come out recently. I wanted to like it! I really did! But it was just so ridiculous! OHNOES Deathstryke isn't really dead! And what's more, she's in charge of a bunch of hydra s...

Forget the Critics: X3 was a smash hit

Here is a review from one of those actual websites for X3, and this review website is simply hi-larious! I particularly like that "unholy shapeshifting" and "Unholy ressurection" go under offenses to God. The one for X2 has got to be one of my favorites ever, in which they take ...

I think Schumachered a pretty good verb, but for reasons that are pretty politically incorrect. At least Ratner didn't change the tone and vibe as radically as Schumacher did. He probably knows that people would be calling for his blood more than they already are (which isn't a whole lot, granted). ...

Purity isn't my thing- what's the point in sticking to something you've already seen before? Reinterpretation is what makes the movies interesting. I still deplored it. Biggie of course being the screenplay- so inconsistent, such bad writing. But the fact that Ratner is such an inferior director doe...

It was more a reflection on Mr. Penn's writing track record itself. They must not be taking this thing too seriously.

HA! Last "or" is SO winning. Sweet! And there are always spin-offs. But going by their rationale as to why he wasn't in this movie, I'm gonna say probably not to that, too. It would be hella cute if he showed up in Wolverine though. Cause, ya know, Wolvie didn't get near enough screen time...

I'll see it. My major is watching bad movies and being angry at them. Although usually they like us being angry for subtextual reasons, being outright bad is allowed as well. It's amazing- in a mere three years I've turned from being excited cause it'll be really good to being excited cause it'll be...

I feel like odds are on that Alan will do the voices for this one, as he's done low profile voice work in the past (even for really, really shoddy movies). I'll be particularly interested to see if they get the whole cast in the game. I feel like Peter Jackson's King Kong game set the bar high for g...

http://ps2.ign.com/articles/685/685298p1.html At least now we get to see Kurt's rather peculiar X-men outfit more full on. Doesn't look very practical for fighting. Reminds me more of the getups the Winkies had on in the Wizard of Oz. Still, sweeeet. At least I can have this to look forward to even ...
